GOFTON- At Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday August 19, 2003. George M. Gofton of Rathbourne Ave. Woodstock in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Florence A. Gofton (nee Jolliffe). Dear father of Bill (Jackie) of Woodstock, Marilyn Tegler and her husband John of Peachtree City, Georgia, Doug ( Angie) of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Mark (Jennifer) Gofton, Scott (Helen) Tegler, Marnie (Dave) Lapointe, Jessica Tegler, Jeff (Laurel) Gofton, Jeremy Gofton and great grandfather of Tyler, Sydney, Clayton, Benjamin, Hailey & Jacob. Dear brother of and Violet Miller of Woodstock and Dorothy Coldham of Galt. George was predeceased by brothers Elmer and Alexander. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (539-0004) Friday 7 - 9 PM where the funeral service will be held in the chapel Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev. Kirby Constable officiating. Interment Chesterfield Cemetery. Contributions to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
