ECKENSTEIN - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Friday March 14, 2003. George H. Eckenstein of Hunter St., Woodstock in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Marjorie "Marj" H. Eckenstein (nee Clynick). Dear father of Gary and his wife Brigitte and Wayne and his wife Ruth all of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Jason (Lisa) and Daryl and great grandfather of Bryanna and Jaiden. Dear brother of Nora Wood of Woodstock and brother in law of Evelyn Eckenstein of Woodstock and Ralph Norton of Uxbridge. Predeceased by his brother Bill and sisters Bea Norton and Elsie Carnegie. George had served with the Canadian Army during WWII and was an employee of Standard Tube for over 37 years. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004, Tuesday 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9pm, where the complete funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Rev.
