Colbert William "Bill" Suddenly, at University Hospital, London, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday February 22, 2012. George William "Bill" Colbert of Thorndale, in his 71st yr. Beloved husband of Shirley and dear stepfather of Doug (Millan) of Washington DC., Jeff (Laurie) of Thorndale, and Gary (Kelly) and Brian all of Vancouver Island BC. Dear Brother of Lynn (Bob) Riddell of St. Marys and dear brother-in-law of Ken McRae of Edmonton Alta. Predeceased by one sister Mary (2005). Also loved by 7 grandchildren Leanne (Bash), David, Melanie (Mike), Dale (Jayme), Abigayle (Jerry), Sarah and Hannah and two great grandchildren Conner and Dayna. Friends may call at the Harland B. Betzner Funeral Home, 177 Dundas Street, Thamesford on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9PM where funeral Service will be held on Monday February 27, 2012 at 11 AM. Reverend Tracy Crick-Butler officiating. Interment later Robin's Hill Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be given to the Thorndale Lions Medical Centre or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation. A Thorndale Lions Club memorial service will be held at the Funeral Home Sunday at 6:30 PM
