Genevieve "Jenny" Leona O'Neill

Genevieve Leona O'Neill, affectionately known as Jenny, passed away on December 16, 2023, in Woodstock, Ontario at the age of 53.  Jenny was a beacon of love and courage throughout her life, touching the hearts of everyone she met.  Jenny was the cherished daughter of John O'Neill (Ellen), and loved sister of Jack (Michelle) and Brigette.   Proud Aunt of Jaxson and Gwyneth.  Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she is now warmly embraced in Heaven by her mother, Suzanne, and her grandmother, Dorthy Benzies.  The loss of her beloved husband, Stephen Decoopman, in 2021, left a void in Jenny's heart that could not be filled. Her passing, in part due to the pain of a broken heart, has brought an end to her earthly struggles. Jenny's family takes solace in knowing that she has been reunited with the two loves of her life, finding peace and comfort in their eternal embrace.  Jenny's life was one of unwavering kindness and courage. She faced life's challenges head-on, never losing her loving spirit. Her resilience and strength were an inspiration to all who knew her. Jenny's love extended to her two cats, whom she adored and cared for with great affection. They, along with her family, friends, and workmates, will greatly miss her nurturing presence.   Her memory will live on in the hearts of the O'Neill and Decoopman families, as well as in the lives of her friends and colleagues.

In keeping with Jenny’s wishes, services will be private.  For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Oxford County Animal Rescue.  Arrangements entrusted to the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock, Ontario
