Gene Pitblado

PITBLADO - At her home on Tuesday October 30, 2007. G. Gene Pitblado of Woodstock in her 80th year. Beloved friend and partner of Nelson Labonte. Survived by her mother-in-law Ida Labonte of Tilbury, her step children Peggy Anne, David, Don, Tommy, Layna and all their families and survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her late husband Norville Pitblado (1989), by her son Brian Pitblado (1978) and by several brothers and sisters. She was the last surviving member of her own family. Gene was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br # 55, Ladies Auxiliary. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday November 2, 2007 from 10 - 11:30 am. An interment service will follow at the Hillview Cemetery with Rev. David Joyce officiating.
