BLAIS, Gaston - Suddenly but peacefully, at his home on Thursday March 21, 2013. Gaston Blais of Eastwood in his 71st year. Husband of Bernadette M (nee Schurink) Blais and dear friend of Johanne (nee Huppé) Beattie. Loved father of Paul Blais (Cara) of Sydenham and Selena Blais (Jason Hicks) of Collingwood. Dear grandfather of Taryn Blais, Abbey Blais and Autumn Hicks. Loved brother of Rosaire Blais (Rachel Roy), Éloi Blais (Lucille Demers) and Claude Blais (Suzanne Bilodeau). Predeceased by his sisters Jeannine Blais (Gaston Belleville) and Solange Blais. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock, Ontario 519-539-0004 on Tuesday March 26, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where a celebration of Gaston's life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Fr. Richard Dales officiating. Cremation to follow. In recognition of Gaston's love for his grandchildren and the outdoors, if desired, memorial contributions to the Tim Horton Children's Foundation would be appreciated.
