Gary Gordon Sherman

SHERMAN, Gary G. – Passed away at the Woodstock Hospital on Monday August 23, 2021 in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Sheila M. (nee Brown) Sherman for over 54 years. Dear father of Marshall (Tracey) Sherman and April (Terry) Porchak. Loving grandfather of Mikaela (Alex), Emily (Jacob), Mya, Danny, Travis, and Owen (Kylie). Dear brother of Melanie Carter (Keith Moat), Denise (Ken) Oliver, Annette (Rob) Bloomfield, and brother-in-law to “Dale” Linda (Roger) Osmond, Wayne Brown, Bev Brown, and Pat Bier. Predeceased by his parents Ken and Myrtle Sherman and by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.  Gary was a long-time member of the Oxford County Naval Veterans Association “Navy Club” in Woodstock and a past member of the Oxford Centre Optimist Club. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Saturday August 28, 2021 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. Friends are asked to RSVP their attendance to the visitation on the funeral home website.  A private funeral service will follow.
