EATON- After a courageous battle with cancer at Sakura House, while surrounded by his loving family on Friday October 7, 2011. Gary D Eaton of RR # 1 Innerkip in his 57th year. Beloved husband for over 34 years of Carla Eaton (nee vanVegchel). Dear father of Jennifer (Mark Colvin) Eaton of Guelph and Matthew (Amanda Thomson) Eaton of Woodstock. Cherished proud first-time grandfather of eight week old Gary "Parker" Ty Eaton. Beloved son of Millie and the late Robert Eaton (2007). Dear brother of Dan (Jennifer) Eaton of Innerkip, Rick (Catherine) Eaton of Hamilton and Dean (Yvonne) Eaton of Cambridge. Dear son-in-law of Paula and the late Gerard van Vegchel (2005). Sadly missed by brother-in-law Tony (Tracey) vanVegchel of Tillsonburg as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Gary was employed with General Motors (Woodstock) for over 29 years. He loved spending time with his family and was known as the guy who could fix anything.
