Garnet "Jim" James Hicks

Jim Hicks (Garnet James Hicks) was a man of warm generosity and mischievous humour.

He passed away suddenly at his home in Woodstock Ontario on Tuesday, June 27th, 2023, just shy of his 86th birthday.

Jim was the youngest of a large and loving family from London Ontario. He is survived by his big sister Mildred Dundas (Jim), his children Tim and Wendy Hicks, and his two grandchildren Charlotte and Kurtis Miller.

He will be sorely missed by his longtime girlfriend and very best friend Audrey Goff, as well as his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jim lived a life filled with love, generosity and service to friends and strangers alike.

Friends and family are warmly invited to the Celebration of Jim’s Life to be held on Tuesday, August 1st, his 86th birthday, at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
