WILKER, Gail - At Victoria Hospital, London with her family by her side on Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Jean Helen Gail Wilker (nee Bruce) of RR# 1, Innerkip in her 66th year. Beloved wife of William "Bill" L. Wilker for over 43 years. Dear mother of Bruce and his wife Sheri of RR# 7, Woodstock and Graham (Kristen McClintock) of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Owen, Mark, Cassidy, Brody and Trinity. Dear sister of Barb Bruce, Marjorie (Tom) Wilson, Marian (Bruce Yausie) Demeester, Al (Diane) Bruce, Donna (Don) McKay, sister-in-law to Gord and Wayne Wilker and is survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents James and Gertrude (nee Fiddy) Bruce and by her brother-in-law Wally Wilker. Gail was a longtime devoted member of Christ Church Huntingford, Christ Church A.C.W. and Choir. One of her favourite past times was spending time with family and enjoying her gardens. Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home (formerly Longworth Funeral Home), 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004), on Friday, July 8, 2011 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. A funeral service to celebrate Gail's life will be held at Christ Church Huntingford Anglican Church on Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev. Victor Krueger-Kischak officiating. Interment in the Christ Church Huntingford Cemetery. If desired, contributions to the Christ Church Huntingford Memorial Fund, Canadian Cancer Society or Victoria Hospital, London Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
