SMITH - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Thursday June 25, 2009. Frederick Gerald "Gerry" Smith of Putnam in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Mary Ann Smith (nee Tuffnail). Dear father of Derrick Wayne Smith (Nancy) of St. Catharines, Linda Gayle Kielbiski (David) of Brantford, Frederick Gerald Smith (Debbie) of Edmonton, Alberta, Karen Piercey (Terry) of Norman's Cove, Nfld, Lisa Ann MacDonald of Brantford, Gerry Christopher Smith (Shirley) of London, Tim Wauthier (Laura) and Wayne Wauthier, both of Woodstock. Survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loved brother of Martha Smith of Toronto. Predeceased by numerous brothers and sisters. Gerry was a member of the Oxford County Naval Veterans Association and played Santa Claus for organizations within the City of Woodstock, Ingersoll, London and Arva, as well as many of the Christmas parties in the surrounding area.
