HARTLEY- At Woodstock General Hospital on Thursday October 28th, 2004, Frederick Donald Hartley of Woodstock in his 85th year. Beloved husband of 59 years to Marie (nee Sumsion). Dear father of Judy Ransome and her husband Bernard of Burk's Falls, Carol Stanners and her husband Ian of Oakville, and Wayne Hartley and his wife Connie of London. Loving grandpa to Brenda Ransome-Slute and her husband Allan, Paul Stanners, Heather Stanners, Steven Domjancic, and Lisa Hartley. Cherished great grandpa to Savannah and Dalton Slute. Predeceased by brothers Bill and Lloyd Hartley. Lovingly remembered by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Friends will be received at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held from the chapel on Monday at 11:00 am with Rev. Heather Weaver-Orosz officiating. Interment in the New Durham Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Oxford Centre United Church Memorial Fund or a charity of your choice.
