Frederick Elias Ferris

FERRIS, Frederick Elias - passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Thursday, August 1, 2013 in his 104th year. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy Ferris (nee Adams). Loving father of Philip (late Diana) and grandfather to Mark (Heather) Ferris of Brantford and Steve (Lisa) Ferris of Burlington. Great grandfather to Jennifer, Courtney and Thomas. Fred is also survived by his sister Louise (Jim) Kenny of B.C. He was predeceased by 2 sisters and 5 brothers. Fred was a Telegraph Operator with the Canadian Pacific and was also a WWII Veteran. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, ON 519-529-0004, on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 for a funeral service which will be held in the chapel at 11:00am.
