ATKINSON, Frederick Stanley - At his home on Friday April 20, 2018 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Nancy Mae (nee Cole) Atkinson. Dear father of Sonya (David) Murray, Kelly (Mark) Gale, Tracey Reid (late Scott), Rick (Velle) Atkinson, Myles Atkinson and step father of Christine (Greg) Schell and Brian (Theresa) Samways Jr. Fred will always be remembered by his grandchildren Sarah and Jessica Murray, Sophia Gale, Shane, Sarah, Angie and Shannon Reid, Nicholas, Alexander and Allin Atkinson. Great grandfather to Tatum, Noah, Hayden, Caelan, Jason, Asher and Tristan. Fred will also be missed by his brother Larry (Heather) Atkinson and by his sister-in-law Marcia Atkinson. Remembered by Janet Atkinson, the mother of his five children. Predeceased by his granddaughter Stephanie Gale, his brother Bill Atkinson and his sister Susan Leeson. Fred was a longtime employee of Fisher Controls. Friends are invited to join the family to celebrate Fred's life at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Wednesday April 25, 2018 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm.
