Freda Wesselson

Freda Wesselson, a beloved figure in her community and a cherished member of her family, passed away peacefully on the 27th of June, 2023, in Woodstock, Ontario. Born on the 10th of March, 1930, in Franeker, Holland. Freda led a life full of love, faith and service.

Freda was the heart and soul of her family, a devoted wife to her late husband, Rolph, and a loving mother to her five children, Grace Zomer (Henry), Anita Cox (Peter), Paul (Shirley), Lloyd (Elaine), and John (Opal). She was a proud and doting grandmother to thirteen grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her sister Anneke Luth, and family in Holland.

Freda's life was not only defined by her dedication to her family but also by her deep commitment to her Christian faith. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she sought to share that light with those around her.

Freda life was marked by a spirit of generosity. She was a vibrant part of many local organizations and charities contributing her time and efforts to causes she held dear.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday July 4, 2023 from 7-9 pm held at Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave 519-539-0004). Private interment will be held. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday July 5, 2023 at 11 am at Covenant Christian Reformed Church (410 Lansdowne Ave.)
