CRUNDEN, Freda - At her residence on Saturday July 21, 2012. Freda Crunden of Leisure World Nursing Home, Ingersoll in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth D. Crunden (1998). Dear mother of Roger Crunden of London, Kathy Rathburn and her husband Craig of Ingersoll and mother-in-law to Mike Conte of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Esme Conte (Gary Jones), Sara Conte, Kate Conte and dear aunt of Dr. Richard and Joanna Hamm and their family of West Virginia and cousin of Joyce Young of Paris. Freda will always be remembered by her extended family and friends in Canada and England. Freda will be remembered for her many accomplishments. She was the first Technical Director in Secondary Schools in North America, the first female Director and Past Chair of the Ontario Technical Directors Association and lovingly taught in Woodstock at College Ave. Secondary School. Friends are invited to join the family at Church of the Epiphany, 506 Dundas St., Woodstock, on Wednesday August 1, 2012 at 7:00 pm with Reverend Dr. Stephen Hendry officiating.
