DAVIS - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Thursday July 13, 2006. N. Fred Davis of Woodstock in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Nancy D. Davis (nee Gilchrist) for over 52 years. Dear father of Dave of Princeton, Linda Wood and her husband Ken of Eastwood, Pam McKiernan and her husband Ivan of RR# 4, Woodstock and Cindy Happl and her husband Ron of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Joe, Shaun (Bonnie), Paul (Beth), Corrie (Rob), Dan and Jared. Dear brother of Phyllis Kiertucki (Morris), Donna Cronkwright (Don) all of Woodstock, Stewart Davis (Josephine) of Burks Falls and brother-in-law of Carla Davis of Embro, Sandy Starratt (Cory) of Muir and Norm Gilchrist (Dorothy) of Woodstock. Predeceased by his granddaughter Michelle (1978), by his brothers John, Dave, Mel and by his parents Stewart and Margaret (nee Tucker) Davis. Friends will be received at the R. D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Sunday July 16, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11:00 am. Interment later in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery following cremation. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
