PALMER- At Caressant Care Nursing Home Woodstock on Tuesday February 14, 2006. Freada Catherine Palmer (nee Todd), formerly of Bayswater Street, Woodstock in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late John Collins Palmer (1996). Daughter of the late Les and Agnes Todd. Survived by her loving daughter Gayle Allan, grandchildren Catherine (Ed) Baginski of Collingwood and James Allan of B.C. Dear grandmother-in-law of Michelle Hunter of Peterborough. Loved great grandmother of Aaron, Meghan and Kaitlyn Baginski and Jonah Hunter. Dear sister of Margaret Knott and Frank (Anne) Todd. Sister-in-law of Walter (Bea) Palmer of Michigan and Susan Perrault of Wisconsin. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son-in-law Raymond Allan (2003) and grandson John Allan (2002). Freada was a veterans wife, her husband was a member of the Essex Scottish Regiment. During the war years she was employed by Harvey Woods and later worked for Cleda's. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (539-0004) on Saturday February 25, 2006 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Eleanor Caruana officiating. Interment later in the Anglican Cemetery.
