Wark, Franklin (Frank) Charles - On January 14th 2014, in his 81st year, Frank passed away peacefully at Woodstock General Hospital. With his wife Gwen by his side, and family close by, Frank lost his heroic battle with cancer. An automotive enthusiast and veteran driver trainer, Frank worked for the Waterloo Regional District School Board for 33 years, later for Dynamex, and in his retirement, part time for Adesa Auction in Ayr. Frank and Gwen were Winter Texans, having made many memories and friends in their 16 years down south. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 57 years, Gwen; daughters Janet (Bill) Neill, and Cori (Doug) Dietrich; grandchildren Ryan Neill; Tami (Chris) Schnarr and brother Ted (Judy); sister-in-law June Henry; niece Lynda(Cliff) Zaluski and nephew Ron Henry as well as other nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by other family members and many close friends here and in the U.S. Frank was predeceased by his parents Diana and Frank; brother John and daughter Debra. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life with friends and family will take place at the Woodstock Royal Canadian Legion on Feb. 8th , 11:30 a.m. in The Lounge.
