MAKING, Frank - Peacefully with his family by his side aat People Care Centre, Tavistock on Thursday December 20, 2012. Frank George Making of Woodstock in his 98th year. Beloved husband (for over 67 years) and best friend of the late Eileen (nee Galpin) Making (2009). Son of the late George Making and Ethel (nee Brown) Making. Cherished father of Ruth Ann (LeRoy) Buckrell of Burgessville, Shirley Innis of Phoenix , Arizona, and Donna (Ronn) Making-Beres of Woodstock. Loving grandfather of Janice (Tony) Graham, Geoff (Lisa) Buckrell, Scott (Elizabeth) Buckrell, Carrie (Ben) Innis Hanson and Shelley (Mark) Solomon. Proud great-grandfather of John (Ellicia), Jason (Julie Deller) Topham, and Jessica (Jamie) Elliott; Jared, Alison, Taylor, Matthew, Adam, Jacob, Noah and Hannah Buckrell. Step-great grandfather of Tyler, Leanne and Kirk Graham. Great-great grandfather of Evelyn, Ava and Philip Topham. Dear brother of the late Edith (late Bill) Allison. Uncle of Helen (Ed) Butt and the late Ella (Alvin) Ackert. Brother-in-law of Helen (late Grant) Markham, Gwen (late Jim) Boniface, and Fred (Helen) (late Marg) Galpin. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family in England. Frank was a long-time member of Oxford Baptist Church. He was a WWII Veteran and former employee of Canada Post in Woodstock. Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday December 28, 2012 from 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9 pm. The complete funeral service will be held at Oxford Baptist Church, 278 Hunter St, Woodstock on Saturday at 11:00 am with Pastor Don Reeve officiating. Interment later in the Harris Street Cemetery, Ingersoll. If desired, donations in Frank's memory to Oxford Baptist Church, The Gideon's or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
