Frances Mary (Dickinson) Lalonde

LALONDE - Suddenly, in the comfortable surroundings of her home on Monday, April 9, 2007. Frances Mary Lalonde (nee Dickinson) of Woodstock in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Alcide (Sid) M. Lalonde (1991). Dear mother of Diana Van Wyk and her husband Bob of Sweaburg and Brian Lalonde and his wife Mary Anne of Kitchener. Loved grandmother of Claire, Kevin and Christopher Van Wyk and Matthew Lalonde. Also survived by several sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Wilford Loucks Dickinson and Ada (Leighfield) Dickinson, sisters Carrie Woodward, Jennie Campbell, Elsie Retz and by her brothers Arthur, Donald, Russell and Earl Dickinson. Frances worked at LaFrance Textiles and Firestone Textiles for many years, was an active member of C.O.A.C., sewed for missions at Holy Trinity Catholic Church and enjoyed the therapeutic waters at Woodingford Lodge. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday from 2:30-4:30 & 7-9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church 904 Dundas Street Woodstock, Saturday at 11:00 am with Father Andrew Kowalczyk CSMA officiating.
