JOHNSON, Frances Mary (Neuenschwander) – Passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 12th, 2022, in her 91st year and is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior. Frances is predeceased by her parents Reverend Vilas A. Neuenschwander and Sarah Ann (Pearson) Neuenschwander, also her two brothers Floyd and Leland. She is survived by one brother Carl. Frances leaves behind her husband, of over 68 years, Wayne Arnold Johnson. Loving mother of Cindy (Joe) Arena, Kevin Johnson, and Wendell (Margaret) Johnson. Loved grandmother of April (David) Noble, Tiffany (Jon) Evered, Reverend Nathaniel (Hannah) Arena, Adrian (Elise) Johnson, Naomi (Andrew) Klassen, Wendell (Dusty Lynn) Johnson, Amanda (Brenton) Hoffman, Tania (Brian) Klingenberg and Alysse (John) Stavropoulos. Frances also leaves behind her great grandchildren Dekker and Aria Noble, Gabriel and Evander Evered, Ian Johnson, Giddeon Klassen, Logan Johnson, Aleeda, Britton, Shea, Addilyn Klingenberg,and Eloise Stavropoulos. Frances was born in Tilbury West Township, Essex County, Ontario, Canada, on Thursday, December 17th, 1931. After graduating Chatham Vocational School and marrying Wayne she raised their three children on the Merlin area farm. In 1966 they sold their holdings in the Merlin area and relocated to the Norwich area of Oxford County setting up a farming operation on approximately 300 acres. Subsequently, due to health reasons of both Wayne and his father they sold their land holdings in 1972. During the fall tomato harvests, Frances was employed by Jeffrey Canning Operations, Port Crewe. Frances and Wayne moved to Thamesford in 1976 thence to Woodstock in 2002. Both Wayne and Frances were members of Huron Park Baptist Church, Woodstock where Frances held several service positions like Chief Librarian, Choir Member and Sunday School Teacher. Friends are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Saturday, April 16th, 2022, from 1 to 2 pm with the service being held in the chapel at 2:00 pm.
