Peacefully after a brief illness at Bonnie Brae Nursing Home, Tavistock, on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, Floyd Donald Totten in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Say) Totten (1999). Dear father of Donald Totten (Susan) of Calgary, Richard Totten (Brenda) of Ayr, and Elizabeth "Liz" Cooper (Dean) of Kitchener. Loved grandfather of Alec Osborne (Kim), Matthew Totten (Becky), Sean Totten, Heather Osborne (Isabel), Amy Totten, Holly Totten, Nicholas Cooper, and Amanda Cooper and great grandfather of Callum Osborne. Dear brother of Karen Allen. Predeceased by his brothers Jim Totten, Ken Totten, sister Marian Rutherford, and brother-in-law Lloyd Allen. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 2 - 5 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, February 21, 2011 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Jane Van Patter officiating. Cremation to follow with interment later in Strong Township Cemetery, Sundridge. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
