Floyd Roy Davis

DAVIS, Floyd Roy - Passed away quietly on May 5, 2014, at the LHSC - Victoria Campus, London in his 84th year. He was the beloved husband of Verna (nee Milam) for 60 years. Dear father of Marilyn (Don) Avent, Carol (Stephen) Allen of London, and Donna (Michael) Kasubeck of Dorchester. Cherished Poppy to Karen Avent (Ron), Daryl Avent (Sarah), Ryan Allen, Robert Kasubeck (Jessica), Dana, and David Kasubeck. Great grandfather to Samantha, Rachel, and Vanessa Parry. Dear brother to Marie (Bill) Mossip, Norma Smith, Peter Davis, and Robert (Sylvia) Davis. Floyd will also be missed by his brother-in-law Ron (Marg) Milam and sister-in-law Dorothy Davis as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Ray Davis, brothers-in-law Arnold Smith, Robert Milam and sister-in-law Ellen Davis. Friends will be received at the Harland B. Betzner Funeral Home, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford, (519) 285-2427 on Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 6-9pm and again an hour prior to the service which will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 1:00pm with Rev. John Bannerman officiating. Private family interment in the Vining Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
