Florence (Simkin) Littlejohns

LITTLEJOHNS, Florence Margaret; In her 80th year, born in Muir, Ontario to parents John and Alice Simkin. Beloved wife of Alvin Littlejohns for 57 years. Passed away suddenly, at Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday, January 12th 2011 following a brief illness. Florence was the dear mother of Brian Littlejohns and his wife Denise of Barrie, Roger Littlejohns and his wife Cindy of London and Cindy Bryson and her husband Paul of Woodstock. Special grandmother of Kate and Kyle Braithwaite, Ted Lane, Jordan and Michael Bryson. Missed by loving companion Buster. She was also survived by sister Mary wife of Allan McMillan, sisters-in-law Ina Littlejohns and Judy wife of Carl Serviss. Brother in-law Garry Littlejohns and his wife Carol and many cherished nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her in-laws Wilford and Clara Littlejohns, brother George Simkin, and brothers-in-law Harry Littlejohns and Mike Moskal. Florence was an active member of College Avenue United Church, a long time member of Unit# 6 UCW, a Meals on Wheels volunteer and fondly remembered by her family and community as a kind soul and friend to all. The funeral service will be held at College Avenue United Church 22 Wilson St. Woodstock on Saturday January 15th 2011 at 1:30 pm. Interment at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
