Fay Eva Smith

FAY SMITH(nee CALLERY), of Woodstock area passed away suddenly, Saturday July 23, 2022 in her 70th year. Beloved wife of devoted and loving husband Don.

She will be sadly missed by sisters Sharon Strath (Derek), Dorcas Tisdale(Chuck), brother Paul(Marg). Loving Aunt of Renee, Janet, Ryan, Allen, Paula, Callery, Nicole, Matthew, Miranda and Karl. Also survived by a number of great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by father John (1986) and mother Velma Callery (2016) and also by her youngest sister Crystal, tragically, in 1986.

Fay worked in the Banking Sector for many years, and also as a customer service/sales representative for Permark Badges. She loved getting away camping in their trailer when she and Don lived in Toronto for a long time. Fay loved butterflies, horses and dogs, especially “Ruby,” kindly shared by their wonderful neighbour, Julia.

Fay was a kind, gentle and loving soul. A faithful servant of her Lord Jesus Christ, she and Don had a Puppet Ministry and later, a Retirement Home Ministry. She was active in her church and sang in choirs over the years. She will be greatly missed by friends and fellow congregants, but she is already singing in a new choir. Love you Fay.
