Everett Elberon Johns

Everett Elberon Johns, passed away peacefully at Parkwood Institute – London, on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025, in his 100th year. Beloved husband of the late Daphne Johns (nee Raven) (2018). Dear father to Carolyn (Lance) Farrish, David (Pat) Johns, Elizabeth (Don) Dumont and Jennifer (Bill) Huras. Loving grandfather of Michael (Kelly), Jeffery (Ruth), Daniella (Brian), Brenda (Paul), Rob (Carrie), Brad, Stephanie (Pat), Kimberley (Vito), Adam (Dominique), Jared (Sarah), and will always be remembered by his many great-grandchildren. Survived by his extended family, many nieces and nephews, and friends. Everett was a long-time active member of Church of the Good Shepherd. His passion at church was his service for many years teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir, and lay reading. Friends are welcome to join the family at the Christ Church Huntingford on Friday, March 28th, 2025, for the funeral service in the sanctuary at 11 am, with Rev. Katherine Loynd officiating. Interment in the Christ Church Anglican Huntingford Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Parkwood Veterans Care Program would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home. The family wishes to thank the outstanding staff at Parkwood Veterans Care for their loving and compassionate care toward our Dad. We want to especially give our heartfelt thanks to Donna, Deb and Jennifer who assisted our Dad's passing with dignity, grace and peace.
