PROULX - At Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday March 24, 2004. Evelyn R.V. Proulx (nee Sylvestre) of Fyfe Ave., and formerly of Lancaster St., Woodstock in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred F. Proulx (1994). Dear mother of Jim (Florence) and Joyce Poisson (Richard) all of Windsor, Linda Hunter (Wayne), and Bonnie Atkinson all of Woodstock, Karen Piraino (Frank) of London, Roger Proulx (Joanne) of Stratford and Jackie Czuper (Steve) of Ingersoll. Loved mother-in-law of Faye Proulx of Windsor and Virginia Proulx of Woodstock. Dear grandmother of 27 grandchildren and Gi Gi Ma to 35 great grandchildren. Loved sister of Mary Gorr of Pembroke and Theresa Miller of St. Catharines. Predeceased by her sons Edward and Robert, 2 grandsons, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Evelyn was a member of the Ladies Auxillary at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #55, Woodstock. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Friday 2:30- 4:30 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held from St. Rita's Roman Catholic Church, 904 Dundas St. Woodstock on Saturday at 2:30 pm with Fr. Alan Dufraimont officiating. Interment later in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
