MOYER - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday March 11, 2003 Evelyn Viola Moyer (nee Newton) of Caressant Care Retirement Home Woodstock in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Ross Moyer (1998). Dear mother of Lynne Moyer of Woodstock, Beth Munro and her husband Gord of Woodstock and Tom Moyer and his wife Joanne Ayre of Wellington, New Zealand. Loved grandmother of John Campbell and his wife Dianne Norman of Halifax, Paul Campbell of Toronto, Hillary and Kellie Munro of Woodstock and John Ross of New Zealand. Predeceased by brother Russell (1994). Evelyn was a graduate of the Brantford General Hospital School of Nursing, Class of ‘44 and a member of the Wingate Raiders Chapter of the I.O.D.E. for over 50 years. Friends may call at the R. D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Avenue Woodstock (539-0004) on Friday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev. Robert Duthie officiating. Interment later in the Harris St. Cemetery. Contributions to the VON Oxford or the Woodstock General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
