Evelyn Ileen Harmer

HARMER, Evelyn Ileen (nee Winegarden)- Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Monday, February 5, 2024. Evelyn was in her 98th year. Beloved wife for 72 years to the late Robert Ross Harmer, (2016). Loved mother of Bruce (Beth) Harmer, Diane (Dave) Aitchison, Barry Harmer, Sue Yeoman, and Paul (Wendy) Harmer.

Much loved Grandmother of nine, and Great Grandmother of twenty. Dear sister of George Winegarden and sister-in-law of Willis Heaslip. Predeceased by her parents Earl and Bertha Winegarden. Siblings and in-laws Norma and Tom Morley, Art Greenless, Ken and Isobel Winegarden, Loatus and Morland Turner, Orville and Florene Winegarden, Phyllis and Charles Deavu, Everett and June Winegarden, Bud and Carol Winegarden, Inez Winegarden, Audrey and Bill Holden, Shirley and Jim Clarke, Betty Heaslip, Ted and Irene Harmer, and Olive and John Neilson. A celebration of Evelyn’s life will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 2pm to 4pm at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock ON. (519)539-0004. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at the Parkhill Cemetery. If desired memorial donations may be made to Sakura House in Woodstock or the Canadian Cancer Society.
