Evelyn (Becker) Coon

COON, Evelyn (nee Becker) - Passed away peacefully at Sakura House on Tuesday, July 5th, 2022, in her 74th year. Beloved wife of the late Gereald Coon (2016). Loving mother of Janis Coon and Kathleen (David) Coon-Frerichs. Forever missed by her grandchildren Amber Coon and Alex Frerichs. Dear sister of Rhea Becker, Elaine Becker, and Graham (Mary) Becker. Predeceased by her son Andrew (1971), and her siblings Doreen (Jack) Johnstone, Margy (Bill) Schurink, Gwen Wylie, and Wayne Becker. Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her great grandchildren, and her many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was a member of the Salvation Army Songsters and was Corps Cadet Counsellor. Friends are invited to meet with the family at The Salvation Army Community Church, 769 Juliana Drive, Woodstock on Saturday, July 9th, 2022, from 10 to 11am where a memorial service will be held in the sanctuary at 11:00 am with Major Wavey Birt officiating. Interment to follow at Oxford Memorial Park. If desired, memorial donations can be made to The Salvation Army Community Church or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
