MCEWEN - Surrounded by her family at Woodingford Lodge on Wednesday January 16, 2008. Eva Blair McEwen (nee Parker) of Woodstock in her 87th year. Beloved wife of George Murray McEwen. Dear mother of Heather Stock and her husband George of Tavistock, Murray McEwen and his wife Lynne of St. George and Ken McEwen and his wife Linda of Alberta. Loved grandmother of Laura, Gordon, Jennifer, Christopher and Carolyn and great grandmother of Quinn and Mikayla Stafford. Eva was a longtime member of St. David's United Church. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Friday January 18, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at St. David's United Church, 190 Springbank Ave. N., Woodstock on Saturday January 19, 2008 at 11am with Rev. Jane VanPatter officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment later in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
