Eugene George Clendinning

CLENDINNING, Eugene George - passed away at his farm on Sunday, November 30, 2014 in his 88th year. Eugene was the beloved husband of the late Marjorie (nee Upfold) Clendinning (1990). Loving father to Doug, the late Anne (Dermot), Joyce (Horst), Dave and Lynda (Lori). Cherished grandfather to Dan, Joe, Andrew, Mike, Imogen, Aurelia, Travis and Avery. Great grandfather to Ainsley and Tavish. Eugene will be remembered for his love and commitment to the community of Banner where he lived on the same farm from birth to his death. He went from farming with horses and milking cows by hand, to overseeing a state-of-the-art robotic dairy operation. Eugene will be remembered as a farmer respected by farmers. Friends and relatives may join the family for a visitation on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-9pm at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home, Thamesford Chapel 519-285-2427. The service will be held at the Banner United Church on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 1:00pm. Interment in the Banner Cemetery with reception to follow at the Thamesford Arena.
