SYWYK - At Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, Ethel Viola Sywyk (nee Pepper) of Woodstock in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Bill Sywyk. Dear mother of Brenda Shifflett (Mike Cains) of Selkirk, Gloria Prince (Larry) of Brantford, Sherry Guitare (Joe) of Windham Centre, Judy Kisling (David) of Pahrump, Bill Sywyk Jr. (Cheryl) of Woodstock, Danny Sywyk (Penny) of Stratford, and Wayne Sywyk (Lori) of Springhill. Also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughters Geraldine Rose and Midge Schwartz, and her sister Betty Hunter. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Friday, April 9, 2010 from 2:30 - 4:30 and 7 - 9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 904 Dundas St., Woodstock, on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 11:00 am with Father Richard Dales officiating.
