SCOTT - At Woodstock General Hospital on Monday January 19, 2004. Ernest Scott of Lancaster St., Woodstock in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Joyce M. Scott (nee Stubbs). Dear father of Barry and his wife Karen and Peter and his wife Lynne all of Woodstock.. Loved grandfather of Marnie, Trevor, Darlene and Karen and great grandfather of Skylar, Kaylee, Taylor, Ryan, Jayden and Noah. Dear brother of Bill and his wife Betty of Toronto, Les and his wife Wanda of Brantford, Marguerite Scott of Norwich and Phyllis Ford and her husband Bob of Hamilton. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by his son R. David Scott and sister Mary Cayley and husband Walter and brother-in-law Darwin. Ernest was a member of the Mocha Shrine Clown Unit and Oxford Lodge #76 A.F.& A.M. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Tuesday 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from the All Saints Anglican Church, Winnett St., Woodstock Wednesday at 1:00 pm with Rev. Megan Collings-Moore officiating. Interment later in the Presbyterian Cemetery. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
