Ernest "Ernie" Frederick Nesbitt

NESBITT- At London Health Sciences Centre, Westminster Campus on Friday August 20, 2004. Ernest "Ernie" F. Nesbitt of Sioux Cres., Woodstock in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Rose Marie Nesbitt (nee Oliver) and loved father of Jocelyn at home. Ernie will be missed by his children Ernest Nesbitt of Hamilton, Mandy Nesbitt of Ingersoll and by his step children; Rick Veres and his wife Nina of St. Catharines, John Veres of Vancouver and Barry Veres of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of several grandchildren and one great grandson. Dear brother of Dave Nesbitt and his wife Judy of Cleveland, Ohio and uncle of Dr. Gillian Nesbitt of Toronto and Tom Nesbitt of Cleveland, Ohio and other nieces and nephews. Ernie had been an owner/operator of Kendall Cab for over 10 years, was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #55, was a member of the Moose Family Centre Woodstock, served as Assistant Regional Director of the Loyal Order of the Moose and was a Past President of the Ontario Moose Association. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Community Church, 769 Juliana Dr., Woodstock on Wednesday at 1:30 pm with Captains Phillip and Wavey Birt officiating.
