JOHNSON, Erna M. - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Saturday, October 22, 2011. Erna M. Johnson (nee Luescher) in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Arnold C. Johnson (2011). Dear mother of Bonnie (John) Wilkins, Bill Johnson, and Karen Johnson all of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Cheryl, Jon (April) Wilkins, Elke (Brian) Giroux, Bill (Jessica) Hagen-Johnson, James (Melanie) Johnson, and Brandon Johnson and great grandmother of of Broc, Nathan, Emma, Hilary, Adam, Mallory, Nicolas, and Jack. Dear sister-in-law of Lois Luescher. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her great grandson Jacob Hagen-Johnson, brother William Luescher, and great nephew Keith Luescher. Erna was a member of the Oxford County Naval Veterans Association, served as a C.W.A.C. Corporal in WWII, and was a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br.# 55 Woodstock. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held in the Anglican Cemetery on Sunday, October 30 2011 at 1 pm, following the interment a reception will be held at the Navy Club 959 James St. On Sunday from 2-4 pm.
