Eric G. Thomas

Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the age of 81.  Cherished husband of Julie Thomas (nee Allgeier).  Eric is also survived by his 4 children and 7 grandchildren.  One of 4 children born to Germaine and Maria Thomas, Eric left Belgium with his family as a child to escape persecution.  Eric was a proud military man, with most of his career spent serving in the Marines, and just prior to retirement with the Canadian Armed Forces.   In retirement, he was very active in the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 55, volunteering with the Colour Party and holding various positions, including Branch President, Commander and Deputy Zone Commander.

In keeping with Eric's wishes, cremation has taken place and no public service will be held.
