Eric Eugene Lorch

Eric Eugene Lorch passed away peacefully with loving family by his side, on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Woodstock Hospital.

Eric is survived by his beloved wife, Lynn and their children; his daughter, Shanielle and Shanielle’s partner, Mike Brooks, and his son, Trevor and Trevor’s wife, Barbie.  Eric was a devoted grandfather to Tyson, Danika, Charlotte, and Ella.

Eric was born on September 13, 1966.  His life was guided by his mother, Marie and his older brothers, Stephen (Candy) and Michael (Shani).  He was a proud uncle to Sheawna, Lucas, Travis and Alicia. When Eric married Lynn, he gained extended family; sister-in-law, Angie and her partner, Laura and his brother-in-law, Michael and his wife, Liz as well as their daughters (Brittny, Chelsey, Samantha and Victoria).

Eric was passionate about hockey and a lifelong Toronto Maple Leafs fan. He also enjoyed golfing and home renovations.

Lynn would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the CCU Unit at Woodstock Hospital for providing excellent care to Eric. Special thanks to Dr. Sohaib for her kindness and compassion.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 beginning at 2 p.m. at The Rock Bible Church,1140 Nellis Street, Woodstock.
