Emily "Doreen" (Almas) Bond

BOND, Emily Doreen- Peacefully passed, with loving family at her side at Woodstock Hospital on Thursday May 15th 2014. Doreen Bond of Woodstock in her 78th year. Beloved wife of Orwell Bond. Loving mother of Lori (Ric) Rokicki, Julie Bond, Leslee (Jamie) Watling and Denise Bond. Dear sister of Donna (Ken) Ward and Ruth Ann (Larry) Rule and sister-in-law of Wilma Wills and Orpha (Keith) Ringham. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Doreen was an unselfish, dedicated member of College Avenue Church, was the President of the College Avenue U.C.W for 20 years. She was also an outdoor enthusiast belonging to the FCRV (Oxford Rovers), as well as an avid bowler, where she played in the College Avenue Bowling League. Friends are welcome to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, on Wednesday May 21st , 2014 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at College Ave. United Church, 22 Wilson Street Woodstock on Thursday May 22nd , 2014 at 2:00 pm. There will be visitation one hour prior to service. Interment in the Innerkip Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to W.D.D.S., College Ave. United Church or Woodstock Little Theatre would be greatly appreciated.
