MacArthur- At Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday August 15th, 2004. Elwin Claude MacArthur of Durham Cres., Woodstock in his 61st year. Beloved husband of Shirley A. MacArthur (nee Arsenault). Dear father of Cindy MacArthur (Jeff) of Woodstock, Tracy Geilen and her husband P.J. of Woodstock, and Nancy Meehan and her husband Keith of New Brunswick. Loved grandfather of Cassandra, Victoria, Stephen, and Allan. Dear brother of Carolyn Matthews of New Brunswick. Also survived by mother-in-law Rose Lavigne of Woodstock. Predeceased by his parents Claude and Enid MacArthur, by his brother Ronald, and his sister Marilyn Ainsley (Biggar). Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Tuesday from 7-9 pm. where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 10:00 am with Fr. Alan Dufraimont officiating. Cremation. Contributions to the Lung Association Oxford County or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
