Elvin Alfred Lilley

July 22, 1942 — April 19, 2023

Elvin Alfred Lilley, a loving and friendly man who brought laughter and joy to the lives of those who knew him, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2023, at Woodingford Lodge in Woodstock, Ontario. Born on July 22, 1942, in Woodstock, Elvin was a cherished member of his family and community throughout his 80 years.

Elvin was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Lilley, and their two children, Lynn Lilley (Brian Davies) and Robert Lilley. He is survived by his adoring grandchild, Lucas Davie, and his siblings, the late Arthur (Susan) Lilley Jr., Barb (Tom) Parsons, and Philip (late Sandra) Lilley. Elvin also held a special place in his heart for his sister-in-law, Audrey Murray. The son of the late Arthur Sr. and Phyllis Lilley, Elvin was a devoted family man who will be deeply missed by his caring aunts, his many nieces and nephews, and his close friend, Dave Armstrong.

Elvin was a man who understood the value of hard work, he was a true testament to the power of perseverance and determination.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Elvin's memory to The Woodingford Lodge or a charity of your choice.  As per Elvin’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.

A special thanks to the staff at Woodingford Lodge for all their care and support for Elvin during his stay.
