EMPEY- At Caressant Care Woodstock on Tuesday, June 27, 2006, Elva Rose Empey (nee Griggs) in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Litwin and the late Frank Empey . Loved mother of Shirley Roth, Tony Empey and his wife Patricia all of Woodstock and Jocie Daniel and her husband Bob of Drumbo. Loving grandmother to eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Elva is predeceased by her children; Frank and Lavern Empey; her son-in-law Peter Roth, by her brother Walter Griggs; and sisters Mary Griggs, Lucy Foster and Edna Griggs. Friends may call at the R. D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday June 29, 2006 from 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will take place in the chapel on Friday at 1:30 pm.
