OKKELS, Elsie - Peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital, on Monday December 5th 2011, Elsie Okkels (nee Illich) of Woodstock in her 91st year. Beloved wife of Edward Okkels for 66 years. Dear mother of Monica (Howard) Mills, and Ursula (late Klaus) Heyden. Loved grandmother of Richard (Shelley), Deb (Steve), Ed (Christina), Walter (Karen), Ron (Karen), and great grandmother of 11. Elsie was a longtime member of Knox Presbyterian Church Woodstock. The family will receive friends at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004, on Sunday December 11 2011 after 12pm where the complete service will be held in the chapel at 2pm. Interment later in the Presbyterian Cemetery. If desired, contributions to the Parkinson Foundation, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
