LAIRD- Peacefully at the Woodstock General Hospital on Thursday September 4, 2008. Elsie Marie Laird of Canterbury St. Woodstock in her 86th year. Beloved sister of Isabel, Marjorie and Marion Laird all of Woodstock. Loved aunt of Margaret Cousens and her husband John of Brantford. Sadly missed by several cousins and friends. Predeceased by her brother Wilson Laird. Elsie was a life member of the Woodstock Christadelphian Ecclesia on Clarke Street, a member of both the Ingersoll and Woodstock Curling Clubs, as well as the Ingersoll Golf and Country Club and Cedar Creek Golf Club. Friends may be received at the Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004) Monday September 8, 2008 after 10:00 am where the funeral service will be held in the chapel Monday at 11:00 am.
