Byers Marguerite "Marg" (Pratten) Peacefully at The Village of Glendale Crossing, London, on Sunday June 19, 2011. Elsie Marguerite "Marg" (Pratten) Byers in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of John Byers for 65 years. Loving mother of Marcia (late Robin) Armstrong, (Andrew Payer) of Ottawa and David (Donna) Byers of London. Caring nana of Heather (Andrew Rivers) and William (Alison Tate); and Allison, Christine and John Armstrong. Predeceased by her sister Emma Woods and her brother Wallace Pratten. Survived by sister-in-law Ethel Pratten along with several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Kevin Pratten for the help he has provided. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Harland B. Betzner Funeral Home, 177 Dundas Street Thamesford on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where funeral service will be held on Thursday June 23, 2011 at 11 AM . Interment Robin's Hill Cemetery . As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be given to the church or charity of one's choice and would be appreciated by the family. A reception will follow the service.
