Elne Edith (Wideman) Englemark

ENGLEMARK - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday June 26, 2007, Elne E. Englemark (nee Wideman) passed away in her 85th year. Born in English River, Ontario (Dec. 8, 1922), later worked in Peninsula during the 1930's, and during WW II worked in Thunder Bay at Canada Car manufacturing aircraft. She had been a longtime resident of Marathon for over 53 years then she left in 1999 to be in Woodstock with her daughter. Beloved mother of Gay Melville and her husband David of Woodstock. Dear grandmother of Colleen Jmaeff (Carl), Kelly Patriquin, Susanne Patriquin, Lori Brien (Paul), Wendy Raney (Dave), David Melville (Judy), great grandmother of Aaron, Stephanie, Crystal, Keri, Jacob, Niki, Logan, Emma, Brandon, Matthew and great-great grandmother of two. Loving daughter of Hilda Wideman of Thunder Bay, sister of Marvin Wideman (Clarice), Raynold Wideman (Beatrice) and sister-in-law of Fern Kourula. Predeceased by her father, Art Wideman, her brother Waino Kourula, husband Carl G. Englemark and longtime companion Jack Hopkins. A private time of remembrance will take place to celebrate Elne's life at a later date. Cremation has take place. Interment of ashes will take place in the Marathon Cemetery.
