Elmer Lavern Johnston

JOHNSTON- Elmer Lavern in his 80th year passed away on Thursday November 13, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer . He is predeceased by his parents Cliff and Eva Johnston. Survived by his wife Frances of 57 years. Dear father of Graham (Joanne) of Innerkip, Bruce (Deb) of Woodstock, Kim (Mark) Stephens of London, and Scott (Cathy) of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Tammy (Michael), Laura, Jamie, (Vincent), Kristy (James), Lindsay (Luke), Kyle and Chad and great grandfather of Justin, Alex, Abby and Parker. Dear brother of Kathleen Roi and her late husband Danny. Loving uncle of Carol Corkish, Susan Livesey and the late Dianna Corkish. Elmer established Ingerwood Construction in 1985 where he remained as the president. He was also a long standing member of the Oxford County Naval Veterans Association.
