Elmer Ens

ENS, Elmer - Gone to be with his Lord and Saviour and with the love of his family by his side. Elmer Ens, passed away at his home on Wednesday July25, 2018 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Brooks) Ens for 65 years to the day. Loving father of Barry (Louise) Ens, Cindy Ens, John (Denise LaPointe) Ens and Peter (Nauni Parkinson) Ens. Dear grandfather of Stephanie (Craig), David, Manon, Kaiman, Charlie and great grandfather of Royden and Audrey. Predeceased by his parents Cornelius and Margueritta (nee Heide) Ens, his sister Margaret Groves and by his brother George Ens. Elmer was a longtime member of Oxford Baptist Church in Woodstock. He was also a past employee of Canadian Tire where he served as a trusted mechanic for over 33 years. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Sunday July 29, 2018 from 2- 4 pm and 6-8pm. A funeral service to honour Elmer's life will be held at the funeral home on Monday July 30, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment in the Innerkip Cemetery.
