THOMSON, Ellen Mae- Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday February 12th, 2017 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Hilton David Thomson (2008). Loving mother of Alex (Bonnie) Thomson, Susan Arnold, Jim Thomson, Doug Thomson, Cathy (Ed) Down and Brenda (Larry) Mutch. Ellen is also lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law Clara Thomson. She will be missed by her 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Always loved and remembered by her siblings William "Bill" (Gloria) Foster, Robert "Bob" (Margaret) Foster and Jim Foster. She will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Ellen is predeceased by her son William Thomson (1971), daughter-in-law Jean Thomson (2005) and son John Thomson (2015). She is also predeceased by her sisters Rosie MacKenzie, Josephine St. Clair and brother Donald Foster .A private family service will take place at a later date.
